Westpark Communities originated approximately 30 years ago with its first project being a 1,600 acre totally undeveloped tract of property that was a number of miles distant from existing development. The principals of Westpark worked together to creatively envision and develop one of the most successful master planned communities in Northern California.

Westpark Communities was required to receive approvals from local, state, and federal agencies and overcome four litigation challenges and two initiatives. After Westpark Communities completed the comprehensive entitlement process, Westpark Communities initially sold the property to the three largest public home builders in the country – Lennar, Centex, and Pulte resulting in the largest land sale transaction in the Greater Sacramento Area. Westpark Communities utilized this expertise in overcoming opposition and creative land use planning to develop several other challenging and ultimately very successful projects.
